Description
These newcomers on the Lebanese rap scene hail in actual fact from Palestine, but have spent their young existence in the refugee camps of Borj el Barajneh.

Their incendiary prose and hard-edged beats, however, do not confine themselves to their geopolitical surroundings; quite the opposite, these five (as their "street" moniker indicates) young men look and rap beyond the events of their daily life, taking in the political state of their country(ies), the social condition of the youth and education, to name but a few. Providing their fiery lyrics with a near-perfect shield of beats and rhythms is Zeid Hamdane, the man behind Lebanese band Soapkills, with able assistance from sound engineer Fadi ‘Fe’ Tabbal.

"The Israeli military has condemned the t-shirts worn by soldiers as "unacceptable," which depict the killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

The shirts came into fashion following disclosures that soldiers who took part in Israel's military offensive in Gaza complained about rules of engagement allowing them to kill civilians and destroy property"

a woman wears a bell carries a light calls searches

through madness of deir yessin calls for rafah for bread

orange peel under nails blue glass under feet gathers

children in zeitoun sitting with dead mothers she unearths

tunnels and buries sun onto trauma a score and a day rings

a bell she is dizzy more than yesterday less than

tomorrow a zig zag back dawaiyma back humming suba

back shatilla back ramleh back jenin back il khalil back il quds

all of it all underground in ancestral chests she rings

Summary
"This video shows recent Zionist atrocities in Gaza. Please bookmark, download, upload to other servers, link from other websites and share with everyone you know! We must not remain silent on this completely preventable tragedy. The simple fact is that more than 40% of the dead victims are women and children. Regardless of your political views, even 5-10% of civilian casualties (meaning injuries, let alone deaths) is too high."
